Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)

A sufferer of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) could ignore the symptoms for a long time before they seek help. This could be due to denial or being worried about telling people because of their reaction. A person might refuse to tell anyone for fear of being disbelieved. There is a stigma around mental health which could force a person to believing they need to keep it a secret. Counselling could help unlock this stigma.
